Varicon are an independent company, established for over 20 years, as a specialist service partner to a number of major Inverter, SoftStart and UPS suppliers. Varicon provide a comprehensive and competitive repair service on all manufacturers’ products, both on site and in-house at our repair centre based in the Midlands.

Varicon offer annual service and maintenance contracts though out the UK. Where there are reliability concerns, or where nuisance tripping occurs, Varicon can undertake a technical audit and service to resolve the problem. We offer single source problem solving for all makes of equipment and fast response at point of need. Service work can be arranged to suit customer’s production schedules. We are committed to offer an efficient and reliable maintenance service to all our customers 24/7 throughout the year, and will deal with any power electronics, variable speed drive, ups system, or electrical problem you may have.

Inverter Drives

We are service partners for major inverter manufacturers including Vacon, and specifically for the Water and Wastewater Industry, Danfoss. Our expertise in Water Utilities, HVAC and Industrial applications mean we can support a wide range of inverter drives including ABB Low Voltage Drives, Control Techniques, Omron and soft start systems from Allen Bradley, ABB, Fairford and legacy Saftronics units. We provide 24 / 7 breakdown support using experienced and factory - trained personnel who understand not only the drive operation, but also the control philosophy to help resolve complex issues on your site.

UPS Systems

We are support partners for Riello UPS Systems, the second largest manufacturer in Europe, and Eaton UPS giving us access to the widest range of UPS systems on the market. We can provide maintenance and support on most other manufactures equipment while we offer battery discharge testing and scheduled replacements.

Legacy Products

Varicon originated from the Heenan & Froude / Heenan / FKI companies who were industry leaders in drives. We are probably the only company who can repair and replace parts on the legacy Heenan ID9001, FID inverter drives, and the electro-mechanical Heenan Eddy Current couplings and TASC drives.

We offer routine maintenance programs, scheduled servicing, and breakdown support on a wide range of industrial power electronics.
